Narmie

Narmie

Some History

Narmie was married December 2, 1911 in the Royal Court of Denmark. Most of these pieces were wedding gifts and were made between 1893 and 1911. The date range can be determined by the markings under the piece but they are a range not a specific year.
The two numbers, sometimes one on top of the other indicate the style of piece and or colors used. The artist who painted the piece is often indicated by an artist number, sometimes initials, sometimes just a scratching on the bottom.
Most pieces are in mint condition however, some pieces have minor damage usually around an ear. We do have a one armed angel.
If there are no numbers listed it's because they are illegible or too small for me to see.

As wonderfully as we all turned out, I'm sure we can agree that Narmie was in a class all her own and can only hope to channel some of the warm qualities she possessed.

Dear to Narmie, dear to us.
